A few years ago, I made a list of things that I thought would make me happy, mostly just for fun. But later, during a time when I was feeling really down, I stumbled upon that list. Spontaneously, I decided to try out some of the ideas from it to change my mood. I made myself carrot juice with a scoop of ice cream inside, I read my favorite book, I called my mom for a chat, and I listened to my favorite piece of music. Surprisingly, it worked like a charm! By the end of the day, I had completely forgotten that I was feeling so upset in the morning. You see, I already knew what could make me happy and change my mood, but when I was feeling sad, I thought nothing could help, so I didn’t even consider the options. However, seeing my written list made all the difference! It motivated me to give it a try and prove that nothing could help me, but I was proven wrong. So, I suggest that you make your own happiness kit list this week and keep it somewhere handy for when you need it. It’s like an investment in your mental well-being. Give it a shot!
